That's the impression I got as well. I've written to him a couple times but haven't heard back yet. Jason's Uncle passed and he is in a distressed moment presently. Sad news. Please pass our thoughts along to him.

Shoveled the sidewalks and porches and headed out to walk to the gas station for snacks and drinks. Most folks sidewalks all up and down the neighborhood still have a good 9-10 inches or so and so do the sideroads here, with snow still drifting and coming down. Nobody is driving unless they're asking to get stuck around any turn, save for big trucks, SUVs, and plows around here.
I love the winter and snow and have a nice pair of Carhartt arctic bibs and snowboots but it's getting tough to walk any distance in this at this point without snow shoes!
Back now, and smoking Gawith Hoggarth Kendal Flake in a Hyperbole Falcon bowl.

Back now, and smoking Gawith Hoggarth Kendal Flake in a Hyperbole Falcon bowl. I hadn’t looked at the radar and didn’t realize it was still snowing down by you. It stopped up here around midnight last night after dropping about a foot of snow. Two hours yesterday and two hours today on the tractor with front end loader and back blade clearing snow. Driveway, path from hay shed to horse corral, the half mile long private road that I’m at the end of, a couple neighbor's driveways. Luckily, a couple other neighbirs on the road have tractors and work on the road too.

Angler’s Dream in my registration number era Stanwell Hand Made 29 Billiard. Some K-Cup Starbuck's Cinnamon Dolce on the side. Cinnamon tobacco and cinnamon coffee; still trying to warm up after snow removal.

Sounds like it dumped on you guys up there faster, where it's dumping the same amount in a little over 48 hours down here.

Yesterday afternoon while I was out plowing on the tractor it was coming down at about an inch an hour. Kinda sounds like fun, actually. No cab on the tractor. Fully exposed to the weather. Not fun in wind or snowing or temps below 20f. Yesterday my jeans were soaking wet from the snow. Fun when the sun is out and there’s no wind.

Before anyone asks… yes, I’ve been known to smoke a cob while using the tractor.

Kinda sounds like fun, actually. Gets old fast. Shoveling, definitely. But running a tractor, as long as you're bundled up good, kinda sounds like fun. Wouldn't want to do it every day, though.

Fun when the sun is out and there’s no wind. Oh, I assumed no cab. I have no experience with that kind of fancied-up, city-folk tractor. The tractors I drove were Farmall M, H, and Super C. Sounds like you were not bundled up, so disregard my previous comment.

Haunted Bookshop in the Thursday cob. Trying to find the motivation to shovel more snow. Try to think of it as shoveling less snow. See if that helps. It didn't help. In fact, because of the drifting, it WAS more snow. Winter Wonderland!

I for one love the snow. I'm glad everyone around here is snowed in. LOL Serves most of them right for always remaining parked on the streets so that plows won't come through. They all have garages.

Gatlin Burley in a Butz Choquin billiard, with some unusually good coffee this morning. Warm and rainy here, for the second day in a row. I'll take rain over snow anytime.
