More of the English Luxury from haebar in the sandblasted Icarus lovat from fadingdaylight I love this little pipe, and I clean it scrupulously (pipecleaners through the stem & paper towel to wipe out the bowl) after every smoking session. The EL has rapidly become my new "Arcadia Mixture," and when this pouch is empty I'll probably fill it with something different (another English blend, of course) just to take a slight break so I'll better appreciate the English Luxury when I inevitably take it up again - and to help clear some shelf space so I can stock even more English Luxury, Proper English, and Old Professor So you're more open to having burley in the mix? I'm willing to concede that in proper quantities mixed with other tobaccos that it certainly does seem to make some sort of positive contribution. A year ago, I was convinced that Latakia was the most dreadful thing on the planet. Now I gravitate towards the more Lat-forward blends and even bought a pound to mix with some of my other blends. Who knows? By this time next year I may be crying that I sent all my Haunted Bookshop to Silver Pete! 😂

I hope he keeps it hidden in a room I didn't get a good look in. We got a tour of the basement, and didn't see any more in the tin room. Most of it is sold. We were selling hand over fist in Columbus. What’s left is out in the shop. Well, I feel fortunate to have gotten just a little.

My first taste of Gawith, Hoggarth & Co.'s No.25 Mixture in a large Radice Rind bent apple. Hot cup of coffee. I am really enjoying this nice mild/medium blend. Just the right amount of ssweetness, with that touch of smoky latakia.

Sutliff Cube Cut Burley for breakfast and now some SG BBF in a Grabow billiard before it gets to icy out.

Tonight I will be having some Crooner in my Christmas gift to me: www.tobaccopipes.com/savinelli-mini-409-green-smooth-tobacco-pipe-dublin/I am on my desktop as usual so posting pictures is a bit of a hassle, but the above link is the pipe I will be having it in. A great little smoker. Don't worry, it is dedicated to Crooner. Deertongue has already been baked into it so there is no turning back now. Anyone have any other deertongue-heavy blends that they would suggest? I love the stuff.

Started the day with Haunted Bookshop in the Thursday cob and coffee before another round of snow shoveling. Now that's done (for now), smoking some more Haunted Bookshop.

I've gotta get out to shovel again. Haven't hit it today yet. Still coming down a bit but can't tell how much with it blowing and drifting.
