Last week I finally found just the right pipe for my anniversary pipe. I did a search on ebay for 2016 pipes of the year and a Dagner Witch's Warden showed up. Since it was obviously a Halloween pipe and I started smoking a pipe in October it seemed perfect. I saved it to my wishlist on ebay, and then I found the same pipe on TobaccoPipes.com for less, so I bookmarked that too. Today i checked on them and both are sold out! *sigh* I signed up on TobaccoPipes.com to be notified if they come back in stock, but since they are a 2016 I'm not holding my breath. They are out of stock on the Dagner website too. So now I'm pouting

Dang I hate when that happens. I missed a pipe on eBay a few nights ago, was waiting until the last minute to bid, got distracted and the auction ended 😒

I wonder if Dagner would make you one on request? Probably not, but might be worth asking.

Just put the very most you are willing to pay for an item and forget about it... it will bid in the last few seconds. www.gixen.com/

I have one of his other pipes and love it. i know JimInks has mentioned smoking one of his pipes on "what are you smoking now"

The Dagners are a YouTube sensation. Doing reviews and general discussions, they developed quite a cult like following. They started going to pipe shows, hawking t-shirts and other marketing type of material for their YouTube shows. Eventually, they worked out a deal with a pipe manufacturer to create a Dagner label line of pipes that they designed.
They appeal to the younger pipe crowd, but are definitely out of the mainstream for many of the old school pipe crowd. They are decent guys and have really developed a following that has pulled many people into the hobby. Gotta give them credit for that.

No wonder I never heard of them!

Yeah, I'm not big on the YouTube thing. Just a preference for me. I respect what they do, and appreciate that they appeal to a different crowd that probably feels a bit marginalized by the forum world.
It takes all kinds though, so as far as I'm concerned, plenty of room for them.
