Same. Sale is already out for Opening Day--fractured rib from pitching. Pen has some new faces, which could be a good thing. They just added Diekman, too. I had forgotten that Bradley, Jr was back until he was on the field. It's good for their meta-game, at least.

No kidding. I don't blame him a bit for taking that deal, though! Well, the Braves had already moved on and traded for a new first baseman. Younger guy and grew up in Atlanta too. Probably a better medium term decision than re-signing Freeman. |

Just imagine making that kind of money..162 million in 6 years.On top of what he has already made. Given state income taxes in California, I wonder if he'd have made more overall staying in Atlanta. I'm guessing it was the lure of playing for a bigger team. |

I already have it, but I know someone who will be interested. Thanks! Thursday is Opening Day. Yuppers! Red Sox at Yankee Stadium for me, a classic. So far Sox are looking at half a good rotation, an inconsistent pen, and a just ok infield. OF should be locked and I can see these infielders getting their act together. |
