last night hubby started a fire in our new fire pit and we went out at dusk to watch the fire and chat. I took my two apple diplomat cobs and my new tobaccos -- Sail and PA Cherry Vanilla -- and leisurely smoked them. Pretty good, no tongue bite The Sail supposedly has Latakia but you certainly don't smell it, which is good since hubby doesn't like it. Hubby decided to pick up a corn cob pipe at Smoker Friendly yesterday when i got my tobacco, and he gave it a try last night. Don't think he's going to become a pipe smoker because he complained that it tasted like burning plastic. I have no idea what was going on. He insisted the smoke was cool, the bowl wasn't getting overly hot, and I've never tasted anything like burning plastic. Not sure if the pipe just needs breaking it, or I need to try him on a briar....

Clipped Suzy's nails on her front paws, and now she's manicuring them. Molly's batting at her head trying to pick a fight, but Suzy's ignoring her. Another typical day for those two.
