Early 70's Hayward 80's Bond Street both 14 oz So you were the one who bought Bing Crosby's tobacco. I had a sample of Hayward and enjoyed it. Hope you do, too.

All it took was a Der Bingle connection. Bond Street is just another pretty label.

Received in the mail today a 500g box of Gawith & Hoggarth Dark Plug from Mars Cigar! This stuff is harder to find than Penzance or Stonehaven (at least for me). I hope it smokes as good as the reviews state.

Just got these in yesterday from my favorite ebay seller, Judperl. The top one is a Sunrise Amber Grain and the bottom one is a Tally Ho (James Fox). Judperl's pipes are always a little better than they look in his photos.

Not really in the mail, but my son brought me this Gerber automatic knife with an S 30V steel blade and Gerber Impromptu tactical pen with an integrated glass breaker tip. The striking pommel on the knife is a beast...one hell of a skull cracker. His buddy made the ranger belt for me some time back, and he is comissioning him to make a new gun holster, double mag pouch and a leather pouch for the knife.

Took a gamble and bought a lot of 5 pipes on Ebay for $35 with free shipping. There was just one photo and no information about the brands of pipes that they were. It was a buy-it-now listing that had just popped up. I thought I recognized some of the pipes in the photo. Got them in the mail yesterday and was floored with the jackpot. Two Ben Wade freehands, a Caminetto Business, a Royal Danish (Stanwell) and an "Adventurer" pipe that appears to be a Willard.

Wow, Haebar, nice score...they look like they will clean up nicely! My Dark plug came today, in the 100+ degree heat opening the mailbox, it smelt heavenly. Yes, it does have a decent nic-hit, and the lakeland is present, but more muted it seems to me than other G&H blends...this is a keeper.

It is so good... I am afraid the Feds are going to kick the door in. If the anti-pipers knew how good it was, their panties would be twisted.

Finally got here! What's that? Curly Block - Never heard of it. Who makes it and where'd you get it? Sounds like something I'd like to try.

My 5 pounds of leaf showed up today. The Fire Cured Virginia looks especially tasty. Hopefully this weekend I can start a plug and some ropes.
