Sorry to scrooge you out of that pipe Scrooge. I had looked at that pipe about a month ago and then forgot about it until I saw a new post of the cutty he made. I was surprised that it was still there, so I went ahead and bought it. Smokes really nice, but even with the thick walls it gets a little hot with some Virginia flake. Tried some War Horse Bar and was much better. I've never had a maple pipe before, I was hoping for a little maple flavor...

Looks good on you. I had heard that about maple, guess this confirms it. Think I'll still have him make me one.

I've ordered this from Blakemar Briars in England.
USPS tracking said yesterday it was in Chicago. Today they say it's in New York. Ilive in Indiana. Another instance of where our government's actions make no sense.

Here's the progress I've made of the past week or so, mostly via USPS. I'm having a great time so far, and really appreciate all of the helpful advice you've shared with me. I don't have a Revelation blend yet, but I went ahead and made up a jar when I find some... maybe I'll start thinking like ol' Einstein.

For a relatively new smoker, looks like Greg is developing a serious case of TAD!

A tin of that Exotic Orange stuff everyone has been fussing about. Ebay. Kinda expensive but it is the first tobacco I have ever bought in months. Who knows, the remainder may be up for grabs after I try it.

Twelve ounces of Sleepy Hollow will be in my mail in the morning. The air is getting a chill, so the sweet tobaccos are coming out!

For a relatively new smoker, looks like Greg is developing a serious case of TAD! Huh, looks quite average to me. Serious is when the UPS person has to use a hand truck to bring the boxes to your door.

Next time my wife says that she loves the aromatic that I am smoking and asks what it is, I will be sure to say, "It's Old Joe Krantz!"

Have a few samples coming, in the endless search for a good bulk blend as a daily smoke.
1 oz. - C&D Virginia Gentleman 1 oz. - C&D Winchester 1 oz. - Low Country Natural Virginia & Burley 1 oz. - C&D Old Dark Fired (blending)
And to top it off, 1 lb. of C&D OJK Blue to add to the cellar. Should keep me busy for awhile.
