Briarbuck that is a beautiful meer combined with the 3 knuckles of bamboo blue accent and stem...all works together like it was made to be (which it was, obviously).

Well, I sold a knife two days ago for a decent amount and spotted this pipe on eBay......... Definitely donโt need another pipe but this will be my first and only bamboo shank pipe in my collection. Itโs a 3 knuckle bamboo shank with a real good looking piece of briar......I really like the contrasting finish๐๐๐ I won this pipe on eBay for $36.00......cheap compared to many other custom made bamboo shanked pipes. This is an HS Studio Pipe which I own 6 others.......all are good to excellent smokers!!!

My two (adult) kids snapped up a nearly new (2 smokes) Castello 55 Old Antiquari KK for me for Fatherโs Day. It should arrive on Friday. To say Iโm excited and grateful puts it mildly.

Well, I'm pleasantly shocked. Walking out the front door this afternoon, I found a box hiding behind a bush at the front door. Customs released my pound of latakia, bless them. I'm at a bit of a loss to explain this but I'm not complaining. Now I'll be able to make my own English/American blends with homegrown Virginia & Burley. Yipee!
My two most sought after tins have been out of stock for several months; SG Chocolate Flake & Germaines Plumcake. Oh well. So I ordered 8oz of English Oriental Supreme & 3.5oz of MB Plumcake.

Congratulations.......today is your lucky day. If your Country has Lotto May I suggest you play today ๐๐๐ Once Customs declares a fee Iโm surprised they released it to you. I had an aunt and uncle that were both US Customs Agents for 30 plus years. Both had no personality or friends.....just each other until the day they passed. Last time I saw them I was under 10 years old. They were quite odd in their ways!!!

Tracking said "Held in Customs" just 7 days after ordering which was unusual; normally it takes around 3 weeks before tracking advises it's held in Customs. Funny you say that. I found my order as I was leaving for the shops to pay bills. While at the newsagent I bought 2 tickets for Oz Lotto that's got a $73 million jackpot this week. I'm not much of a gambler but will spend $10 for a chance at a big jackpot. $73 million would be nice.

Congratulations, Elric...so glad you got your tobacco and now you can blend your own and good luck on the Lotto! Thanks Walt. Although I could eke out my cellared blends with homegrown Virginia, Burley, Va/Bur & homemade Perique (I'm intending to make Kake), I dreaded the thought of running out of English/American blends. If I win $73 million, I'll post a brand new antique pipe to twenty BP members.

Sure is a good looking pipe.......GOOD LUCK๐๐๐ I can see a mud repair. Then it was covered with carbon throughout the bowl. Any words of wisdom are welcome. My guess is to break in slowly to create a layer of cake. It is a looker and I hope it ends up working out. I didn't spend a ton on it and have learned a bit of a lesson, which is valuable.

Break it in slowly but inevitably you know the outcome. If you purchased on eBay Iโd let the seller know he didnโt put one over on you!!
