Wow, Ted. I can't believe the prices associated with those pipes. I'm watching several now.

Prices are amazing...seems like they have more than the selling price invested in stock alone. Some really nice styles too.

What a coincidence. I found that seller last night & I've been outbid on a few pipes that sold this morning (my time) I'm really low on funds so bid really low.

Tracking on my latest order shows it went from Fort Lauderdale to Dubai of all places. Cargo planes from the U.S. east coast to Oz usually go through Los Angeles, occasionally with a stop at Hawaii.
Orders have flown via S.America & a couple of times via Japan in the past but Dubai seems a long route to get to Sydney.

Have patience, when you see a pipe has a bid of $11.99 with 10 seconds left place a bid of $15.55. Thatโs how I won my last pipe for $13.50. You need to make a note when itโs close to the end day and time of bidding. If itโs a pipe thatโs at $29.99 or more place the maximum bid that your willing to pay for the pipe. The Bamboo Shank Pipe with almost 3 hours left had a bid of $33.00 I set a price in my mind of $38.55 and won the pipe for $36.00. Wait for the last 10 seconds to place your bid....GOOD LUCK. In the past 3 years I won 9 Pipes, all good to excellent smokers and are very well crafted. Iโve been outbid a number of times, Iโm only willing to spend a certain amount of money on a pipe right now.

That's how I usually do it, wait until the last 15 second before bidding but these are finishing too early in the morning for me. (It's Winter here & I have to stay warm in bed due to my Buergers disease. The cold does me no favours) Not to worry though, I'm a bit stretched money wise anyway & I have heaps of pipes as it is (PAD is a terrible condition, lol) I just noticed that the Bamboo Poker Sitter went for $31 today. A nice price for sure. The other pipes that I bid on went for under $20. It's a wonder how they make a profit. There's a bamboo paneled Poker that I've got my eye on (I'm the winning bidder atm) That's one I'd really like to win.

This guy used to be infamous as a seller of counterfeit pipes -- Castello, Bo Nordh, etc
It pleases me to see that he is selling high-quality Chinese pipes under their own brands, standing for what they are.
I've always wanted a lighter from the makers of the counterfeit S.T. Dupont and Cartier lighters on eBay, but I'm never going to buy a counterfeit. I want one stamped with the maker's own brand, you know?

I did a bad thing. Peterson Handmade, hallmarked 1988
It's quite large. As big as a "House Pipe"
I think it had been smoked once.

Most definitely, Iโm aware of a few different stunts that they tried prior. Youโd have to be nutzzzzzzzz to spend $7,000 dollars on a rare pipe that youโve not held in your hands.......plus certified!!! Oh, the seller that runs most everything here in the States is a she. Her name......Annabelle

First up is a gift from Ted. It's a Harnds Viper folding knife. Ted handmade the new scales on it with Dark Walnut Burl. It is absolutely beautiful! This is 1 of 3 knives that I will not part with until I'm dead. There was also a hand written note in the box which means more to me than some would think. Words can not express how appreciative I am of both gifts. Thank you VERY much Ted.

Litto Gomez Diez Dominican Puro Litto Gomez Diez Dominican Puro SB-V 100g Motzek Strang (not all for me) Douglass Neo Lighter All of this will be saved for VERY special occasions. The lighter is great, I love "different" shaped lighters. Thank you very much Greg!

Iโve been outbid a number of times, Iโm only willing to spend a certain amount of money on a pipe right now. The cold is really knocking me about this year & as I've had a few bad nights sleep in a row I slept past midday & missed the auction entirely. Missed out on the Bamboo Paneled Poker that went for real cheap ($22.25usd) In these types of auctions I usually bid on several in the hope that I snag one. As it turned out I'm now the proud owner of; Road Town Pot Fat Shank. Road Town Sittet Bent. Road Town Flat Poker. Each pipe was won for $11.99usd & despite the postage quote being $17.99, I was only charged a very reasonable $11.49. For whatever reason I was not charged U.S. duty. Including Oz GST, all up I paid just over $52usd for three briars. (Around $78aud) Not bad. Let's hope that they're all good smokers.

elric ......you did very well. After smoking them a while post your overall thoughts. I watched that paneled Poker with the bamboo shank sell at the end......$22.50 was cheap!!! Glad you won all three of the others. The owner of this eBay store is Annabelle,a very nice lady that gives excellent customer service. If you purchase pipes from her or are bidding on two pipes that end on different days send her a message and she will ship ALL pipes together at a cheaper rate. Enjoy your ne pipes, congratulations......may they give you many years of smoking pleasure ๐๐๐๐๐ PS Feel better real soon!!!

You did good, elric! I hope they arrive safely and in two pieces (I was going to write, 'one piece' but pipes don't come in one piece).

I'll be giving the Poker a test smoke first & then the Pot. I'll definitely give a report so others will know how the brand stacks up. The Reverse Calabash went really cheap too, for around $40usd. They've got an identical pipe Buy Now for $180. A Reverse Calabash is at the top of my wish list so I'll try for the next one. The long sleep will do me the world of good. Unfortunately Buergers is a cruel disease. Extreme temps affect me, especially the cold. Each Winter the symptoms get worse. This year it feels like I've got long splinters in my fingers on a bad day. Every Winter I have to remember to change behaviours like not to put my hands in cold water for e.g.. Once my foot & hands get too cold, nothing will warm them back up for the rest of Winter. It could be much worse though; twelve other Buergers patients I've known all died within three years from diagnosis. I've survived for more than nineteen years now, so that's a blessing. (The healing Angels have looked after me big time)
