remotely pipe related -- because I sometimes sit out and write or color while I'm smoking a pen case and pastel highlighters from JetPens and 16 color set of ultra fine tip sharpie art pens

Heck, this thread is in the tobacco & TAD section and a lot of posts are of pipes.

I just ordered a vegetable chopper scrapper thingie. Its just a small rigid stainless steal platform curled over at one end ostensibly for a handle. Used often for cutting dough.
I use it as a handy platform for rubbing out tobacco. I can pick it up by the handle so the tobacco runs up to the "handle" and then sideways to dump the tobacco into my pipe, or jar, or whatever.
I saw someone do it on YouTube and it looked like a crazy good idea.

Gotta laugh...that in the profession is known as a dough scrapper/chopper. Yes, I saw that in the promo...but $10.00 for a piece of stainless. Usually it is a carbon steel with a rosewood handle (item #496 by Dexter)
But, great idea for tobacco usage.

Well, I will share this now!!! It was buy now or best offer. So I made a low offer and to my surprise the seller agreed. The gourd is in excellent shape and no bite marks on the stem. The inner cork around the top of the gourd was replaced about 2 years ago. The Meerschaum bowl is under a year old with some slight darkening around the rim. Thatβs minor and Iβm sure I can easily resolve the issue. None of my pipes have a burnt rim, I stuff a pipe 1/2 to 3/4 , never over the top.....here I go again with my anal retentiveness. I guess I put it into perspective β how would I like my rim burnt β...ainβt happening πππ The one I had for many years mysteriously broke, nobody had a clue!

Had a big trade with Isaac L. Whistler for all of this tobacco. Some of the jars have homemade plugs by Klint Kinden, Glenn Skinner, and Josh Allen. Looking forward to trying them! He threw in a couple of older drugstore pipes that will need some restoration.

I took advantage of the P&C 20% off and picked up a handful of pipe nails, a year's worth of cleaners, a box of Erin Go Bragh cigars for Gramps, and a pound of 10 till Midnight for me!

Like I need another pocket knife! Just ordered a Firebird ( Ganzo ) knife from Amazon that has a 3.5β SS cleaver blade with carbon fiber handle scales. Once itβs in my hands I will take a couple of pictures with my iPad and post my outstanding find πππ
PS Lady M will want one of these for sure. Okay, Iβll spill the beans.....only cost $20.45 delivered.

That's a perfect knife for prepping rope and plug tabak. Good price too. Let us know if it holds an edge!

Will do, my pleasure!!! I already own 6 Ganzo Knives and 2 Firebirds...ALL well made for the price. They all hold an edge well. Not one cost me over $29.00 and all compare to knives costing me $85.00 plus. Iβm picky with quality control, so far nothing but high praise for Ganzo Knife & Tools πππ The Ganzo Firebird F720, im carrying now and have been for over a month. Itβs basically a good copy of the Italian made LionSteel model. This knife cost me under $24.00 from Amazon. Iβm EXTREMELY PLEASED!!! I made the simple lanyard from one of my Luger 9mm shells. The knife now opens smooth and fastπ Pocket clip non-reversible!
