Wow, You guys have got some beautiful pipes headin your way. I'm a bit of a csob. Ok, ok. I a real CSOB. Plus I enjoy refurbin these smokers. That being said, I finally broke down and bought an estate 320 KS....  Should be in on Saturday or Monday Turns out it was Monday. Couldn't wait to get home and get this little fat diamond in the rough sanitized, cleaned up, polished and waxed. First thing I did when I got home was to ream out the bowl and then fill it with kosher salt and everclear and let er soak. Then I went to work getting the stem sanitized and then polished up with stem polish, then to the buffing wheel for a better buffing and then polished up with carnuba wax. After dinner I made my way back up to the mancave, and proceeded to cleaning out the salt and then gave the entire stummel a good scrub with a magic eraser and isopropyl alcohol. Wiped it down good and let it dry for a spell while my son and I had a few pipes and caught up on current events. Just now finished polishing the stummel and then waxed it with carnuba as well.     |

my P&C order arrived today! C&D Sweet English, Mac Baren HH Old Dark Fired (not flake), G&H Cherry Cream Flake, G&H Grasmere Flake, Big Ben Sylvia White 827. The pipe is smaller than I expected, but that makes it dainty, lol.

Look what I found in my mail box this morning. Looks like there is some slow smoking ahead.  Last week I asked if anyone had small bits so I could try some plugs. I received these bits from John (papipe). Now to find a couple of small pipes to try them. |

I finally scored a coloring bowl after years of searching. I saw it tucked away in an ebay lot of total garbage pipe stuff. Arrived today and is in great shape. Gently reamed it up and smoked a bowl of Golden Flake by Butera in it. Draw was easy and produced lots of smoke. Now we will wait and see if it works.
