Only the second briar I've purchased this year, the first one a Sav, this one an unsmoked GBD 269 Bronze Velvet. Just can't lay off the pre-merger GBD bulldogs for some reason. Finest kind and can be had for a C-note or sometimes less.

A thrilling day for me. Two tubs of Edgeworth Ready Rubbed, a block of Wessex Gold Brick, a few ounces of Park Lane Connoisseur, about an ounce of Steven Books' Seven of Nine, and 4 ounces of Yorktown. Never thought I'd see the day when I would have a couple of tubs of ERR, especially at such a reasonable price.

Thanks John. Pretty sure box isn't original which goes with pipe but it's from the same era and came with the pipe. I'm not going to smoke the box so I'll keep it as a bonus.

LOL ... smoking and sharing these tobaccos is the only plan.
I was just fortunate enough to be in the right place at the right time with a friend who is selling some of his inventory.

It is a Big Ben pipe, which is a Dutch manufacturer. i bought it from alpascia.com they are an italian retailer but their prices are very reasonable and ship via Fedex global so you have your pipe in 2-4 days (depending if you order it before the weekend, lol) There was a matte black version of this available on P&C -- they are carrying more Big Ben pipes.

Normally, I work from a home office, but today I needed to go to our office in Southfield (Detroit). Since I pass within 2 blocks of JR Cigar in order to get back on the freeway....

Almost to pretty to smoke . . . . . .almost. Yeah Almost, but she'll get her first bowl later when I can do nothing but relax. I need to thank/blame my personal enabler johnlawitzke for leading me down the rabbit hole of high end Hand Made/finished pipes/stems....it's a blessing and a curse..

I wasn't going to buy any tobacco for the rest of this year, but this deal from somebody reducing inventory was too good to pass up: a pound each of Watch City Slices and #558 Flake for less than half price.
