Lane's Paladin Black Cherry in an '85 Dunhill gp. 6 straight billiard... Every time I hear of someone smoking Paladin I want a pouch...then, if I get one, I always end up mixing it with something, and changing it; so silly, the big can would put a stop to all that, but it would last me three lifetimes. E.M.P. ,from Dunhill, in a large, rusticated brandy marked Prince of Wales, with the first coffee of the day.

Started with 2015 Solani Aged Burley Flake this morning in a 5th Ave Diplomat w/ blue/white acrylic saddlebit stem.
Heading over to my nearby park with boxes full of tomatoes and I think I'll take some 1999 McClelland Oriental Mixture #12 to smoke while there.

Soborg Danish Made Bent Brandy 2018 Dunhill Durbar... black coffee alongside... Today will be a day of rest and preparation for tomorrow. The studying and compiling is done. Tomorrow evening I will begin a new chapter in my life, preaching my first sermon. If you were to tell me at 67 I would begin to preach I would have asked you to get a checkup from the neck up. Nevertheless, I’ll go where God leads me and do as He instructs. Puff On me Hearties, Puff On... Good luck in your new chapter, and congrats!

Engine 99 in a Briarworks blasted cannonball. I have had this 99 for about 8 months and just recently started smoking it. Really enjoying it. The cannonball is a great smoker. I can easily pass a pipe cleaner through it.

Glad you were able to attend, John! A nice respite from the malady… as broken leg Charlie can relate! If there are posted pics online, be sure to post a link! Thanks! The picnic was great. I don’t know if anyone took any pics. We were using one of the member's pole barn. One of our members showed up with a buffer to touch up pipes. He’s a professional machinist so he has a nice light touch on a buffer. My highlight of the day was when Dan Spaniola walked in carrying a 5 lb bag of tobacco and handed it to me saying "Here, smoke some and tell me what you think." He had found an old bag of tobacco (like 20 to 30 years old) in the basement of the shop. The ingredients list was almost the same as Darwin Asa (a shop favorite blend). So, he tweaked it to try and make it Darwin Asa. Since I’ve smoked a good amount of Darwin Asa, I got to be a taste tester. Yup, it’s tastes like aged Darwin Asa and I can tell it has Syrian Latakia. 😀 (No, Dan was not giving me the bag but he knows I like to put my entire face into a 5 lb bag and take a deep whiff when I'm evaluating a blend for him.
