Poppin' tins for the win. Just blew open a 2019 tin of G.L. Pease Embarcadero. Going to smoke in my older 2012 Savinelli unfinished 904KS. I'm in a weird mood to just... open 20 tins. Not sure that I'll go that far though.
I'd go so far as to say that the G.L. Pease Fog City Series are hands down, the best tobaccos available on the entire tobacco market.

Storm rolled through with high winds about an hour and a half ago. Got the generator out and running. Fridges and sump pump plugged in. Couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop during the excitement. Gonna have some of the Three Friars/Bayou Morning mix in a minute. On the front porch with a cold beer.

I had to turn around on a one-way street to avoid a huge branch that fell right across the road in front of me, and turned down a side alley. When I came out on the nearest street to race back home as I was really close to home, another whole tree fell in the other lane front of me. It was wild. I was leaving the store where I just went to pick up chicken breast, and when I stepped out I could tell the wind was picking up really quickly and sand started to sandblast my car. That alone made me speed away to get home and then in rapid succession I start seeing entire signs for places like Burger King blowing so hard they looked like they would come down any second.

Similar story…Last week the wife was driving us to the Aussiefloyd concert, and a monsoonal storm brought down a (probably 60 ft.) light pole just before the driveway to the venue. Her quick response allowed us to see the show, it dropped 1 foot in front of the bumper.

Zach, I think you may have seen some either straight line winds or got some micro bursts. We get a lot of them which usually are followed by tornadoes 🌪.

Smoking my 1st bowl of Gawith Hoggarth Louisiana Flake from 2006. Very mild for a vaper and I swear I taste lakeland rose. Not offensive, but any more and I probably wouldn't like it. It's a wee bit mild.

2012 John Aylesbury Luxury Flake in a Jack Howell Rhodesian. Nice looking pipe! Love the cross grain looking hatch pattern with the blast and colors make it pop! The top bowl grain is sharp too.

It's a wee bit mild. My stock of Louisiana Flake is about a year old. It is on the mild side but I get quite a peppery kick in the second half of the bowl. The cocoa topping seems like it’s faded a touch since I tried it when it was fresh.
