My first taste of Mac Baren London Blend Burley. In a dark, sandblasted Hardwick pot. What are your initial thoughts on it? This tin will get jarred up and be put in the cellar for awhile. It's a bit bitey, gotta sip it carefully. Might be better dried a bit more and/or aged. Big cocoa topping. |

Hmm, well, I could still smell that pipeful of Virginia Gentleman when I got up and came back into the den, today. Left the air purifier running while I was at the office, and it's pretty well gone, now. I may have found the limit on what is smokable indoors. Kind of a shame, 'cause VG ain't exactly strong smelling, and that Big Ben is a small pipe. But, something's better than nothing.
