I had some 2022 C&D House Reserve in a Mark Twain cob outside last night. Was gone all day, but once I got home, I started some 2019 Pease Embarcadero in the same cob.

Phil Morgan spoke of a farmer that he met, smoked the same cob 6 times a day for 20 years, still going strong. That says a thing or two about a cob!

This Mark Twain has smoked over a couple thousand bowls now, and for sure they are excellent smoking pipes. I will also mention the G.L. Pease Embarcadero is really singing better notes of the reds and Turkish Oriental flavors in the cob compared to the last several briars I've smoked of this blend. I easily smoke cobs the most and at times I've smoked 5 or more bowls in the same cob in a day. I've got a story where I tried to get Phil Morgan to put a really well smoked Mark Twain cob in his museum. He agreed to do so but the owner backed out of it.

That Canadian was is one that strikes a chord in my wheelhouse, great execution! As for carpal, the procedures are a lot better than what has been offers in the past, Godspeed brother!

That Canadian was is one that strikes a chord in my wheelhouse, great execution! As for carpal, the procedures are a lot better than what has been offers in the past, Godspeed brother! Thanks! I’ve found that I have a soft spot for group 3 Canadians. Except for color, I have three Canadians that are all cross grains and almost the exact same dimensions: this Stanwell Hand Made, a Hand Made by Erik Nording, and a 1987 Dunhill Root Briar group 3. I had a two and a half month lead time for this appointment because he's one of the top hand surgeons in the state. (He’s also 75 miles away.) My primary care doctor understands how important my hands are to me as an engineer. So, he referred me to one of the two surgeons he’d trust with his own hands. With the endoscopic procedures, it’ll be much better than back when they had to peel your hand open. I know it’s not a cure and my wrists and hands will never be 18 again, but anything has to be an improvement over being able to work with and grip with my hands for only 10 to 15 minutes at a time.

Our Carter Hall, in a stack billiard with, of all things, a p-lip. The pipe is marked PESH, in an oval, followed by SAVDIA, and on the other side, Italy. Iced coffee sits close by.
