ERR Match in a Diplomat. Black tea with honey. Congrats to Phils and Astros. We started watching the Astros, switched to Bruins in the 10th inning and then back in the 17th after hockey was over. Now if the Guardians knock out the Yankess, AL looks good. Also, sorry, Dodgers fans.

Got a bunch of fall clean up done today. Had the Sunday cob with me, along with Friars Bayou mix. Sitting on the back porch, catching a little sunshine, and smoking Haunted Bookshop in the Sunday cob.

Killing off a tin of Best Brown Flake, by the time I got done with this tin, I started getting bored with it…. And it is starting to get too dry.
Everytime I crack a tin it needs to be off to a jar, to preserve the moisture, and preserve my desire.

McClelland Smyrna #1, that was a good one. Mild, sour, musty, like a good funk with enough sweetness. Was neat how they placed the tiny little whole Smyrna leaf right on the top inside the tin.
Here's an old picture of mine displaying the tiny little Smyrna leaf from the top of a just opened tin of it.

I've smoked Gawith Hoggarth Dark Bird's Eye in the Mark Twain cob, and then C&D Big 'n' Burley in the same cob.
Now going for some 2019 G.L. Pease Embarcadero in a sandblasted Roswitha Anderson apple. Several things read and seen mentioned about Orientals today and I was ready for some of this.

Lane Ready Rubbed in my Stanwell Silver S 12 large Billiard. I had a great time judging the IAPSC World Championship yesterday. Best of all, I’m not feeling it in my lungs today. When I went to pipe club two weeks ago, I was feeling it for a couple days afterwards.

I have not been on here in quite a while, as I’ve been crazy busy with the Wrangler School and the YT channel. But there are only three weeks left of school before we shut down for the winter, and things are starting to wind down.
I have been concentrating for several months now on the cigar side of things and had pretty much Put the pipes down. My pallet has change so much with pipe tobacco, and I could not find exactly what I was looking for to meet my new taste and I got frustrated.
But I have found some new tobacco‘s lately that have really checked some boxes for me. And I enjoyed him so much I’ve picked the pipe back up and was inspired to get on here and share it.
Right now I’m sitting here having a bowl of HH Mac Baron bold Kentucky in my 2016 JM Boswell and I’m remembering once again why I got into pipes in the first place 30 years ago.

Good to hear, Dewayne! I have enjoyed your YouTube Channel, some great words of wisdom as you pay it forward from your own experiences. The comments on your channel are about the most civil and complimentary I have ever seen on a YT channel.
I like a cigar occasionally, but being so close to a pipe club, I never forget who brought me to the dance.
Thanks for checking in!

Oak Alley in a Savinelli Nonpareil. I broke out some Oak Alley from 2014 at the last pipe club meeting, if you can squat on a few tins you will be rewarded!
