Smoking a leftovers mixture of 2017 Bayou Morning Flake, some 2015 cube cut burley, and Pegasus. Thinking about Harris (Cigrmaster). Smoke one for him tonight, he passed away last night. This new of Harris came like a glass of ice-water in the face. between the lines I figured he was battling some health issues, but such news is always a shock...at our age you learn to take step back, reflect on your own time, and move on. I'll miss his posts and the photos of his lovely collection. R.I.P.

Found a bowl worth of tobacco in a unmarked jar. Might as well smoke it. Loaded in a Rossi Notte author with water. Whatever it is it's a Virginia of some sort.

Round 1 with Tilbury as soon as I jar it up and figure out what pipe I want it in. There are only a few more Eso's that I've wanted to try and haven't had the chance to... yet.

Earlier, it was Haunted Bookshop in the Friday cob while rearranging furniture in the cave to fit Christmas stuff. Now, I'm smoking Friar's Bayou mix in the just-restored GBD billiard. If I had a Ruthenberg, Alden or Larryson, I'd smoke it for Harris. Gonna miss his WAYS posts.

So I went with the Savinelli 130 KS. This was the first pipe I smoked Dorchester in, so why not carry on with the Tilbury? That was the first VA I smoked, and where my love for them all stemmed from. All thanks to Darin. I swear that guy is to blame for everything!

Thanks! Amazingly, Erik stamped this one as only grade C. 🤷♂️ His grades go from A down to D. Funny. Some Danish Pipemakers go the other way with A being the lowest grade. I'm a fiend for birdseye. Of course I guess his grade C might be someone else's best grade.
