Plantation 5 Year Old Rum over ice. It makes a delightful daiquiri but I enjoy it by itself as well and you can't beat it for simplicity.

My take on a "Kentucky Mule". Although, scratch the mule tin and use a 16 oz glass. Allows for alot more ginger beer.

It is not bad! I added a bit too much lime juice and it tastes a bit like a bourbon margarita.. but, cant really go wrong with all those ingredients to me. I wouldn't serve it to guests or anything unless I knew they shared the same passion for ginger beer, bourbon, and citrus.

Highland Park 12. I really need to sleep tonight, even if it's bad sleep. You have excellent taste in Malt Whisky. Highland Park is my favorite and I have tried them all over the decades. Never visited that distillery but many others closer in. Orkney was just a little too far for me to reach. |

I have been enjoying Proper 12 Irish. A nice balance of price and quality. Certainly better than Paddys and the basic Bushmills and Jameson. "Better" meaning a bit more malt whisky in the mix of pot and patent still product.
