Liver and onions, black-eyed peas, broccoli I was just talking about when my grandmother would make liver & onions and how no one ever came close to matching it's amazing goodness. Man, I miss that stuff!

I was not able to eat much last night so it was toasted baguette with EVOO, Pecorino Romano, and Parmesan. Oh, and one of my cats, "Louie" discovered Parmesan which he really loves and licked it off the top. So, he is now "Luigi". I now sprinkle a little of the Kraft Parm onto his kitty pate.

The usual, poached eggs on a bed of red lentils and split Buckwheat groats seasoned with Tamari Sauce. I mention this as it has a taste and texture similar to corned beef hash. Clearly a little healthier. Could also be mixed in with CB hash which I shall try tomorrow. Stay tuned for more culinary tips from a fat man.

My own chicken wings, 4 pounds of wings. I like wings. Dusted in flour, dipped in egg, coated with Panko seasoned with powdered garlic, onion, smoked paprika and salt. Some with Curry seasoned Panko. To be enjoyed with small Yukon gold potatoes, boiled. Spinach, too. Ought to last a few days. Hoping I can get the oven hot enough for an oven fry.

Liver and onions, black-eyed peas, broccoli I was just talking about when my grandmother would make liver & onions and how no one ever came close to matching it's amazing goodness. Man, I miss that stuff! My mom and grandma couldn't make liver that you could chew. Luby's cafeteria changed liver for me forever.

Two poached eggs on a bed of corned beef hash mixed with red lentils and split buckwheat groats. Tasty and lower sodium with more fiber. Yes, fiber, the miracle of digestion.
