The last lemon/blueberry muffin from the batch that my wife made up the other day. Homemade muffins don't last long here.

I dunno, John. Asking a guy for his chile recipe is kinda like asking a rancher how many cows he’s got.

Doing crispy Parmesan chicken cutlets with fried squash and corn, garlic bread per my granddaughter's request. The last time I made the cutlets she said that it was the best meal of her life.
That recipe is courtesy of America's test kitchen/ Cooks country.

A real Texas Chili is mighty good. 2 ts Cumin 2 Onion ; chopped 3 ts Salt (up to 2) 1/2 c Vegetable oil 4 Garlic cloves, chopped 4 ts Ground oregano 1 1/2 ts Paprika 2 ts Masa 1 c Water (up to 2) *1 bottle Shiner Bock 1/2 c Chili powder (up to 1/3) 4 lb Chilli meat 1/2 ts Cayenne pepper 2 cn (8-oz.) tomato sauce You have to finesse this to get it right. Lots of tasting and minor changes will be required with each batch. If you like heat, add more cayenne. I added a cup of chopped hatch chilis to the above.

Fettuccine Alfredo with some Schnitzel chicken. I thought about chili but was out of pinto beans and real chili has pinto beans otherwise might as well just be Wolf brand canned. Let The Chili Wars Begin gentleman start your guajillo chiles because chili powder don't cut it!

Partial to Hungarian Smoked Paprika and Chimayo Red Chile. Here in NM, diced or ground pork is preferred to ground beef but both are good as are bison, elk, or what have you. Thank for sharing the recipe.

Wife's taking it easy and having a mug of coffee. The landlord is in the process of getting us a new microwave and trying to have leftovers without one is too much work. Just the usual sliced deli ham and cheese, no bread.
