Coming out of a few year hiatus and an out-of-state move, I found my snuff stash buried along sone boxes. I don’t really have very much interest in it anymore, unfortunately, so I brought a bunch of it to give to a new tobacco enthusiast at work. We sampled a few together and I showed him how to use it.
We sampled a few of my trusty favs; Bernard’s Jubilee, L260, and Wilson’s of Sharrow Gold Label, and a homemade root beer snuff from a fellow I think I met here (can’t quite remember). Anyway, the new guy is a big fan. I’ll eventually hand over my stash to him if he really gets into it.

I've been hitting White Elephant pretty hard lately. It's a fine, difficult snuff to take but worth the learning curve. 👍 I've enjoyed the White Elephant. It definitely has a learning curve, but it's such a wonderful snuff once you figure out how to use it without melting your face off your head. |

I've recently put away the cigars and pipe for a bit due to a major dental operation. Luckily, I was digging in the closet and found my old snuff stash. Most of them were dried out and unpleasant, although.. some were still good! I am currently working using the ones that I deemed fit for consumption and crossing my fingers on recent Mr Snuff order.
I do not post as much as I’d like. Although, it’s always a pleasure to wander back into the patch and see what ya’ll are up to.

Well, I thought so! I found a correlation with the type of container it was in. Fribourg and Treyer cans do not store well. For that matter, none of my metal screw top type cans stored well. All bone dry! A lot of the snuffs that were gifted to me were in plastic or glass screw top containers - some of those ended up okay. I found an empty "Root Beer #2" container. :-) I had them in a plastic tote in my master closet, away from sunlight. My 150g Cheetah can is still fresh after a few years, but it was also tied up in a bag inside the can. Begum Green and Super Kailash samples still moist and lively.

I haven't had the best luck with Mr. Snuff orders.. but I went ahead and ordered some M.G. Madras, Dragon Madras, Santo Domingo, White Horse, SNUV White Charlie , Poschl Gawith Original[apricot], and Poschl Red Bull Strong. I will not be smoking for quite a while, so I probably should have ordered more while I was at it to justify the shipping cost.

Yeah! I thought that may be a good start. I haven't had a good experience with the "SNUV" line yet. Could be inexperience. I think the one I got this time is derived from real tobacco. The "herbal" one I got first was very painful.
Darin! Quick question about the chimo we got our hands on at one point. Does that stuff expire?
