They're going to be here in a few weeks. Trying to decide if we want to spend $50/ticket. I won that album on a late night Pacifica radio call in contest the day it was released. And a case of Lone Star beer.

Although I love the Moody Blues, I was more familiar with Denny Laine as a member of Paul McCartney’s Wings. A great performer with a stellar presence in the music industry… saddened at the loss.

Yeah, I saw the Moody Blues twice, I wish the third one was at Red Rocks. Perfect band for the perfect venue.

Running through Beethoven's Symphonies. Even at a run, that can take a while.

Trying out a new 10 inch subwoofer to the speakers on my TV with Prokofiev's "Alexander Nevsky Suite" and Mazursky's "Pictures at an Exposition". The best orchestrations for testing sound systems IMHO. Very good sound for a TV system.

It's a great test recording as well as a great performance.

When my wife and I were dating, we went to the Miller Outdoor Theater in Houston's Hermann Park. They used black powder cannons and we were in the front row. It's a lot like riding on the coal car of a steam train, judging by our clothes. Great show though. 4th of July you know. Big bummer was one of our friends was shot walking to his car.
