Robbie Fulks, Gone Away Backward
I first encountered Fulks when I picked up his Couples in Trouble album on a business trip to Houston. He's done a few different styles over his career. They all sound distinctly Fulks, and Fulks sounds like nobody else. He has his very own songwriting style. He's not for everybody, but I dig him.

Scorpions!
Wore the concert shirt out of the house, three women gave me the thumbs up, so it was time to rock me like a Hurricane.

ZZ Top and Lynard Skynyrd in concert my first one in about 15 years! That could not be, I saw Lynyrd Skynyrd a couple years ago in their farewell concert… them farewell T-shirts were heavily promoted and sold. So many of these groups do this….I suppose that the golden carrots dangled in front of them and/or the price of living extravagant lifestyles, guides the decisions.

Hadn’t heard that in years, thanks! Sad that the on stage accident paralyzed him, and ensuing medical problems took him out. He made quite a contribution in his time.

I went to a concert in Vegas last week, it only costed me 45 cents. It was 50 cent with Nickleback.

I would like to see him in a concert with Jason Aldean, and John Rich.
They have tapped into how many people feel.

My daughter has a keyboard and with the technology I could stream “Frankenstein” by Edgar Winter through the speakers as I mimicked someone that actually knew how to play. My granddaughter of 18 months was amazed at my wizardry of the keyboard.

Best of Little River Band ... going to see them live on October 7th. 👍😎 They played at the Wild Horse Casino around me a few years back, wanted to go, but it clashed with an out of town run. The same is the case with Pat Benatar/ John Waite show in the future…🙁 I have heard that the LRB still puts on a great show!

If it wasn’t so close to the LVIPS less than a week later, I just might. Sounds like a great venue!

Was the first concert I took my (now) wife to. It was great - very high quality musicians. They're probably even better now with a decade more practice

Albert Lee and Hogan's Heros - I'm Ready
It's a fun song, and there's a story to go with it: My father's longtime friend and bandmate Bill passed away recently and bequeathed me some stereo equipment including a multi-disk CD player. It was a great gift, but when setting up the system I discovered something that made it even better. Fallen inside the player were a bunch of his old CDs! Some of the disks include David Sanborn, Aretha Franklin, Flim and the BB's, and Allison Krause.
This song is the first track of the first disk of his I played. He was a steel guitar player and this album has some fantastic steel action.
I grew up listening to Bill and my dad play, so having a surprise piece of his CD collection is pretty special to me.
Thanks for all the memories, and RIP Bill!
