One of my favorite songs ever. Not my favorite singer, but he wrote it about 2 of his friends. I think about it every time I see a broken black mother in Shreveport who's child has been killed for no reason.

I just got my tix for Little Feat & Leftover Salmon. Were I not disabled, I could walk to the venue, it's so close. It's been 35 years since I saw the Feat and I'll fit right in with the geriatric crowd. I've only seen the old fish once for a short festival set, so I'm pumped!
