Gas for us in Hurricane Alley, although we bought an induction hot plate for summertime to cut the heat in the kitchen.

What’s not in the mail?
The mailman tagged our door on Friday without knocking for a signature required.
Saturday no knock.
Monday no knock.
So the wife gets to drive to the hub he works from.
The work ethic sucks…. And this cat will no longer get tipped unles he changes his stripes… not likely.

Hell or high water, it made it, the pipe Club of London pipe of the year. Carved by Peder Jeppeson Cheif of Neerup, with a nod to Queen Elizabeth.

Mailed 2 Birthday Cards for my Grandaughter whose birthday is March 5, mailed it February 27, went to post office to get special postage mailing it to Madrid Spain, she still has not received. Probably some postal person thought there was money in them and opened them then 💩canned them! Sent her 100$ thru her PayPal.

She got the cards today, glad of that. I bet she's happy too. I always allow at least two weeks and 3 if I can when sending overseas.

Received the last ten days or so pipe purchases including another Ehrlich meerschaum which I would have passed on due to it needing a bit of restoration and it’s missing the solid gold band, but I love large pipes and this one is a bit over nine inches long. Plus being used, I won’t quarrel with myself about smoking it as I do with most of my unsmoked meerschaums. I also got the first tin of tobacco I’ve bought on Tinbids, a Murray’s era tin of Erinmore Flake (if anyone reading this has Murray’s era Erinmore anything they would like to sell, pm me, I’ll pay good prices) I also received twenty tins of various tobaccos to restock.

Nice score Tedster, you are on a roll!
Something I read some time back by Ben Rappaport that is an expert on everything related to antique Meerschaums, paraphrased: "There are a lot of collectors of fine antique meerschaums that are at the age where it is time to liquidate stock while they have time to do so...A wise person will peruse the offerings and look for them, they deserve good stewards".

Ordered up some of the new Uno blend. While I was at it, I snagged this rather lovely Bentley estate pipe: It's all Pete's fault.
