Not really in the mail, but I pulled a suitcase from the garage and found 10- 100$ bills in an envelope in one of the pockets, a pleasant surprise. Not sure how that happened, but I will take it. Good thing you haven't had a garage sale recently!

I agree. Actually it is a weathered suitcase that at some point would be mustered out of the lineup.
Whew!

I found a local retailer, I will have to check them out. Less than impressed with several bookmakers in the recent past. If you’re having issues with multiple bookies, then perhaps you should reconsider your life choices. 😳🤪🤭 Yeah, I know… Otto Korrect strikes again, but this one is too funny to not comment on it.

Figured this mystery out… the wife went to California after her sister died, and was headed to the potters field. Leftover money that was not needed after the expenses were paid. I need to ride herd on the wife’s accounting.😂

I had to order a replacement charger and power cord for the tablet. The weakest part of the setup is where the cord wires are soldered onto the plug. Lateral tension always loosens the joint creating an unreliable connection. The old one still mostly works, but requires the occasional application of a technical process known as a "jiggle". lol

Decided to try a tin of the C&D Xmas blend this year. To fill out the order, I also got some more pipe cleaners, a tin of SPC Down Yonder, and this nifty little Georg Jensen estate pipe: A man's gotta get his free shipping, dang it!

I just ordered 10 pouches of Sir Walter Raleigh regular yesterday. I consider this a fine blend. It has a very slight amount of humectant, not goopy and keeps just fine. There may be a slight casing or topping, but to me it just tastes like a nutty caramelized sugar type of affair. Four dollars a pouch at pipes and cigars.com. Excellent deal.

My codger blend of choice is Carter Hall, but I know a lot of people swear by Sir Walter.

Decided to take advantage of the 20% sale at SP on Pease blends to fill a couple gaps in my stock: - Abingdon
- Barbary Coast
- Chelsea Morning
With that, I believe I have at least 2 oz. of all the Pease blends that interest me. May I live long enough to try them all. Also, because our friend Gypo is an evil son of a so-and-so, I have this Comoy's estate pipe on the way from Blue Room Briars:

This is the first time I’ve bought from them. Is the owner’s name Mike something? I think I’ve seen him on YouTube, but not sure I’m thinking of the right guy.

Waiting on a Kohler pot filler for an ongoing kitchen remodel. Really had to shop around as in store options were disappointing and prices everywhere are ridiculous. Should be able to finish all plumbing and electrical work this weekend though.

Got a small electric smoker coming from Amazon. A Masterbuilt, kind of like I had in Illinois, but no remote control with this new one. Gave my old one to my son since my wife didn't want to smell it in the car on the 1000+ mile drive from Illinois to Florida.
Mixed up a batch of Korean BBQ sauce yesterday. Buying some pork tomorrow. When the new smoker arrives, I'll "season" it, then make some smoked pulled pork ASAP.

Nice! I always check out Blue Room Briars for their latest. This is the first time I’ve bought from them. Is the owner’s name Mike something? I think I’ve seen him on YouTube, but not sure I’m thinking of the right guy. It arrived, along with a card. There are 2 owners, neither of them a Mike. That guy's store must have a similar name (or perhaps not so similar, I'm old). Anybody know who I'm talking about from the YTPC? Older guy. Almost albino looking. Loves Castellos and Escudo. His videos look like most of them were recorded in his living room.

This was my total haul from the NASPC Columbus Show this past weekend. That’s a Luntsquatch T-shirt. My deal of the show was that can of Edgeworth for only $50! I also ended up buying one of these Lunting Sasquatch T-shirts. Just wore it last weekend for the first time.
