Peter Heinrichs Curly Block in my Matches 860 The Friday Savinelli #848/860. Stranded on a deserted island I choose Curly Block!! Hopefully I will get the chance of getting a hold of another log one day.

Hopefully I will get the chance of getting a hold of another log one day. I wish you luck since it’s out of production and the new replacement Wessex Curly Block has a different recipe. 😢 Those of us with the original Heinrich’s in our cellars will be holding on to it tighter than a 20 year old tin of our favorite McClelland blend.

Away from the interwebs for much of the day. Started with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop and coffee. Rest of the day was more HB, Friar's Bayou and Pegasus. All in the Wednesday cob.

I did see that it changed hands. Hadn't done any research to see how the old and new measure up. I have had mine for quite a long time and will savor what I have left. I probably have 2/3 of the block left.

I haven’t smoked it myself but I know people whose opinion I trust that have tried it and said it’s noticeably not the same. 😢

I do love the original and will enjoy it until it's gone.

There's no mistaking one of Ron's bulldogs for anything else. You could slice bread with those shank edges.

Excited about the four day weekend ahead. Smoking Old Gowrie in a Dunhill Tanshell billiard. It's thundering and both of my dogs are trying to get under the desk where I am sitting.

Well they ruined Strang too… Seems like European blenders have been starting to lower/remove Perique and add Burley instead.

I didn't even know until today that we're getting a day off. Last year, we didn't for Presidents' Day. Our holidays are weird. I think it's the same number of days every year, but they move around on the calendar.

I didn't even know until today that we're getting a day off. Last year, we didn't for Presidents' Day. Our holidays are weird. I think it's the same number of days every year, but they move around on the calendar. I cheated and took the day off on Friday so I'd have a string of four days, counting President's Day.
