2015 McC Old Dog in my Paronelli olive wood bent Apple. How do you like smoking your olivewood pipe? Does it affect the taste of the tobacco? I bought one last Saturday but haven't smoked it yet.

I didn't even know until today that we're getting a day off. Last year, we didn't for Presidents' Day. Our holidays are weird. I think it's the same number of days every year, but they move around on the calendar. I cheated and took the day off on Friday so I'd have a string of four days, counting President's Day. That’s the way to do it. Last month’s series of unfortunate events pretty much used up my PTO for a while.

2015 McC Old Dog in my Paronelli olive wood bent Apple. How do you like smoking your olivewood pipe? Does it affect the taste of the tobacco? I bought one last Saturday but haven't smoked it yet. I have three olive wood pipes. I treat them and smoke them just like briar. I can notice flavor differences between briars due to the wood. So, keep that in mind when I say I notice a slightly milder flavor from olive wood. Certainly, you don’t taste olives or olive oil. Olive wood is my favorite non-briar material. Plus, you can watch them start to darken within ten smokes.

Good morning Everybody, Got a little more sleep last night; six hours. Up at 4:00 am and having a cup of coffee and a bowl of Haunted Bookshop in a Savinelli Silver sandblast billiard. Anybody else notice how few sandblast pipes Savinelli makes nowadays? Must be a more expensive and time-consuming process.
