Good morning Everybody, Got a little more sleep last night; six hours. Up at 4:00 am and having a cup of coffee and a bowl of Haunted Bookshop in a Savinelli Silver sandblast billiard. Anybody else notice how few sandblast pipes Savinelli makes nowadays? Must be a more expensive and time-consuming process. Maybe it's that they can charge more for a smooth.

That's true, but I was thinking of a comparison of Savinelli rusticated versus sandblast pipes. They don't make many sandblasted models as compared to the rusticated ones. I like a good craggy sandblast pipe. Just got back from grocery shopping at Aldi and am smoking some Haunted Bookshop in a old Hendon (Comoy's) billiard.

I have a Saseini second that smokes better than my Saseini 4 dot., both older pipes and in good shape.

Fairly fresh (last year) SG 1792 Flake in a meerschaum billiard. I just finished a tin of 1792 from 2012 a week or so ago and I’ve come to the conclusion that I like this stuff fresh far better than aged.

2015 Solani Aged Burley Flake in a Mark Twain cob. In 2015 the ceiling collapsed in the production area, and the asbestos contaminated the lot. I still have hazmat certification and can offer remediation. Send it muy pronto and I can help you out bro. Please vacuum seal it, if it dries out it, it could compromise the findings.
