Sunny and 47 degrees this morning, the coffee is hot and fresh, and my Butz Choquin billiard is filled with Captain Black Royal mixed with Sutliff's Estate Blend.

Wishing all a nice weekend. Walks done earlier, RomeoJulieta 5x52 for company. To feed the Ed soon, then onward to a somewhat full day taking age into account.
32, just a slight bit of snow overnight

Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Saturday cob and coffee. Now, Friar's Bayou cake in a Dr. Grabow Starfire 36S billiard. Watching hockey.

Rotory Luxury Navy Cut in a H.I.S. Grande Bent Dublin Shape... A large black coffee alongside... I trust all are well this sunny Saturday... Spent some time in the garage tending to my seedlings and adding to their number. If 1/2 of what I plant this year comes in I'll be up to my neck in veg... Also worked on fixing a Savinelli Punto Oro stem that I had attempted a couple of years ago and failed miserably at. Lessons learned! This time will take a bit longer for the proper repair to cure and be ready to place back in service...

Yesterday I was really enjoying smoking Peter Heinrich’s Dark Strong Flake all day, so I am continuing with it, in my BC calabash though.

leftovers mixture in a Mark Twain cob. I think this has a bit of Folklore, Louisiana Perique Flake, Sutliff Uno, and a smidge of Sutliff 2022 Cringle Flake.

2007 GLP Stratford in my Copenhagen Collection by Eltang Billiard. Smoked the same blend at our pipe club swap, about the same year! Paul’s Pipe Shop in Flint was mentioned by an attendee, and he raved about the shop! Bucket list…

Yeah. A bit. Enough to “put it away.” I can’t seem to get away from Z92. If you've found something you can happily smoke every day, I say that's a good thing (assuming it's readily available, which yours is). I understand wanting to try something a little different now and then, too, though.

Bucket list… Aged Stratford is sublimely smooth. if you can get to Detroit again, Flint is only an hour to hour and a half north depending on where you are in the Metro area….

Good Sunday Morning! It's on the frigid side here at 18° with a cloudy sky. My hair is just long enough to brush up against my hearing aids and make them squeak, so my dear wife will give me a haircut this afternoon. I'm getting the smoking day started with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Upshall Dublin and the insulated mug is full of fresh coffee.

Good Morning Again! It's warmed up to whole 23° here with a cloudy sky. My last smoke in the workshop for now is a mixture of C&D's Bayou Morning Flake and Haunted Bookshop in the Upshall Dublin. The 50/50 mix is a very fine smoke and the combination of the two bring out the best of each one. I don't know if I should call the blend Bayou Bookshop or Haunted Bayou. Still some coffee left in the insulated travel mug and then it's back to the house for me. Have a good Sunday, my friends!
