C&D Black Frigate in a small Billiard made in France. I can no longer read the inscription. Probably it belonged to George Simenon at one time.

Good Morning! It's a cold 29° here with a cloudy sky. I just have laundry to put in the dryer so I'll spend some time reading this afternoon. Starting the smoking day with a bowl of Peterson Flake in the Amorelli Three Star and the travel mugga coffee is tucked underneath my jacket.

Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Tuesday cob and coffee. I'll be moving on to Pegasus in a Dr. Grabow #36 Starfire billiard in a few minutes. 39 with spotty rain here. Aside from a couple errands, it will be an inside day.

SG Brown Sugar Flake in my BC calabash. So whaddya think? To me, it's another Virginia flake. I love it. I had a single tin of it about six years ago and remembered it fondly. It’s a nice VA. I’m more Virginia leaning and I can detect some subtle qualities in it that I like. I also really like the brown sugar/molasses flavor.

Afterhours in a paneled hexagon/Rhodesian bent Design Berlin, with a nice half inch ring of sliver...a Christmas gift from the wife, a good while back. It's a joy to hold and gaze at, and that's mostly what I've done with it. Truns out, it's much more of a joy to smoke. perfect airflow and a breeze to clench.

The sinus infection is clear, but now I have to deal with the lingering cough that follows. This will probably last for 2 months *eyeroll."
It took all day to smoke a bowl of McConnell Scottish Cake. The coughing fits are ridiculous, so no more smoking until it goes away. It's just not enjoyable.
... at least I have snuff ...

Productive coughs are gross. Dry coughs are annoying. Once a fit starts, you don't know when it's gonna end.

With all the kids, you're lucky you don't already have experience with one.
