Good Morning! It's another chilly one here at 34°, damp with a cloudy sky, and everything is wet from overnight rain. More laundry to do this afternoon and then I'll spend some time with my book. Getting the smoking day started with a bowl of straight Bayou Morning Flake in a Savinelli Venere 128 and the usual fresh travel mugga coffee is tucked underneath my jacket.

Pegasus in the Monday cob. Did a little planting in my garden boxes. Need a couple sunny days to warm the soil a bit so I can sow lettuce and beet seeds.

Crispy leftovers from a few days ago of 2021 Ennerdale Flake, mixed with some John Patton's Storm Front, in a Mark Twain cob. I've been ITCHING to start popping some new tins of blends I've yet to try, but also trying to whittle down open blends and make room.

Bankside in an Eriksen free-hand that was a gift from my brother, monkey shoulder scotch accompanying. Taking a night off from the kitchen remodel. Started hanging new cabinets this past weekend, should have a microwave and oven back in the kitchen but the end of the week. Quite the luxury after having the microwave in the garage and no oven for the past two months!

Solani Virginia flake with Perique in a Peterson Kapp Royal 80 S
A very pleasant night at the hotel in Las Vegas… Hanging out with some Marines on Liberty… although I never served, growing up as an Army brat, and the long family history in the military, I am in my element!
A cigar shop was close by so I sent one of them off to pick up stogies for the guys… I told the tobacconist to set them up with good cigars, but not to go crazy.
He did me right.
