How's all that remodel work doing, Herb? No do-overs required, I hope. Everything came out great; we love it....two bedrooms and the hall bathroom left to go, but I'm not looking forward to it.  I'm too old to live with my world turned upside down for very long, and way too tired of boxes and wrapping material! |

I awoke to the sound of thunder, and the tap-tap-tap of hard rain hitting my roof...I have a sandblasted, bent billiard, marked "LORD", filled with Pipe Sunday, my homemade VA/PER. Sunday morning demands coffee, and once I get a pot going, I'll fire this thing up and start the day.

Good Sunday Morning! It's 50° here with a cloudy sky and rain is on the way soon. Today I'll turn the deck hose water on and do some maintenance to clean the rims, then use alcohol and pipe cleaners on the stummels, and stems of a couple of pipes. Getting the workshop smoking day started with a bowl of Peterson Flake in the 1950 Dunhill Lovat and there's a fresh mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket.  |
