A few bowls of Haunted Bookshop since last post. Dinner out with my wife, daughter and SIL. Everyone's gone to bed and hockey's on the tube, so I'm having SG St. James Flake in my most recent thing. You did a great job making that pipe; I really like it. I also like Haunted Bookshop, just haven't smoke it lately. Thanks, Tab!

Mac Baren Vanilla Roll Cake in a Butz Choquin A Metz Origine. It was a rare instance when I realized all of my BC bird bone pipes were easily accessible so I thought I would show off my collection of them. I’m smoking the one on the bottom.

Good Saturday Morning! It's a cool 61° here with a cloudy sky and one of the workshop doors is wide open. This afternoon my wife is going to our daughter's house and I'll spend some quiet time reading and smoking. Getting the smoking day with almost the very last of the aged Wessex Brown VA Flake in the Peterson Irish Harp 999 and there's a travel mugga fresh coffee on the tobacco table. Let's have a good weekend, everybody! I can very much empathize with the stenosis, and increasingly with the arthritis, too. You seem to stay in good spirits despite the difficulty.

I can shuffle around the house, slowly do stairs, hobble out to the workshop, do light chores, and go to the supermarket. It's the walking and standing that can get rather painful. I've learned to accept this and there's nothing that can be done about it except face into the wind with no whining and complaining. But I do have the grouchy old man part down pat!

That's lot of cash right there. Mines an excellent aro pipe.

I just had four slices of an excellent Domino's pan pizza for dinner. Drinking iced tea and smoking Watch City Rougaroux in an older Dr. Grabow Grand Duke rusticated billiard.

Don Gilmore sure makes some beautiful pipes. I need another. Is Gilmore related to Warren? Don Gilmore is the owner and operator of Don Warren Pipes. As I recall, Don's father's name was Warren. Slightly confusing that he didn’t use his real name for his pipes. 🤷♂️

Cracked a bulging tin of McC 221b, Arcadia… figured with the name Arcadia, it had Perique. I was wrong, It is Virginia’s, Turkish, Orientals. This 2003 smoke is fantastic, I could taste the floral notes in this one… very pleasant, burned to a white ash, and really no relights needed if I wasn’t distracted. 17 in attendance at the pipe club meeting, it was a good time. imgur.com/a/gWzKul2

Good Sunday Morning! It's 58° here with a cloudy sky and one of the workshop doors is wide open. This afternoon I'll finally get my wife to give me a haircut and I have to make a supermarket run because I didn't pick up coffee the last time that I was shopping. The smoking day has begun with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the BBB Two Star Special and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee on the tobacco table.
