My run/maple mix in a 221Baker Street briar calabash, after what seems like the worst night of my life...I'm battling poison ivy, on my hands and arms, and it's driving me crazy, I don't think I slept an hour last night.

You already answered your question Ron. Haha… Yes, I’d love to try the Flake Medallion but it appears to be out of stock. Even googled a few pipe tobacco shops in Orlando without success. Hence my ‘Orlando” question in other thread. IF I can FIND my medallions, I will try to send you a sample. Sorry I don't have the Royal. I guess I could order some and send it to you too. I don't usually like pure Virginias, but this one has added flavor. As always, THANK YOU for your generous offer Ron. I may live in a “socialist state” but that’s what makes the hunt even more challenging. Guess I’m a little stubborn that way. Haha…… |

I once had poison ivy in one of my eyes. I was shocked by the doctor's diagnosis and had absolutely no idea how it happened. |

It's 60° here with a clear sky and bright sunshine right now. Still in the workshop and reading my book. Currently smoking a bowl of Limerick VA Flake in the BBB billiard and there's a second travel mugga coffee on the tobacco table.

Late start for both the gals too. Short walks, Punch 5x50 for company. Wilke #622 in small meer at desk, side of juice/meds. Ashton Magnum & same baccy when over to the gals for brunch

Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Sunday cob and coffee on the back deck. Cooler and breezier than the past couple day.will have to pack a sweater for Mother's Day festivities at son's house. And pipe and tobacco, of course.

Ick. I haven't had poison ivy/oak since I was a teenager, thank goodness. Nowadays, I can't hear or think of it without remembering the horrifying movie, The Magdalen Sisters (not a horror film). Do you know where/how you got into it? I'll say this for it: at least it's not chiggers. |

I worked with a guy that grew up in Los Angeles and had never heard of chiggers, I was accused of making a racist remark as he overheard it and went to the boss. (I was talking to someone else and told him how much I hated chiggers.) He was exposed for the knucklehead he was. |

It took me a couple weeks to finish up internal cleanup of the two Stanwells that I picked up at the Chicago Show. 2016 SH Our Best Blend for the first smoke of my Stanwell Silver S 126 Horn with plateaux rim. I’m dating this pipe to the late 70s or early 80s. It can’t be earlier because it's a Tom Eltang designed shape and he started making pipes in 1974 at the age of 16.  |

Good evening gents. Thought I’d kill two birds with one stone. Finished Mother’s Day bbq: steaks, salmon, chicken. Caesar Salad and good ol apple pie with strawberries on whip cream. Decided to have a double portion of dessert as I’m currently enjoying a bowl of Bald Headed Teacher. 🤗👍
