More cut Virginia plug same claw meer. The bowl on this meer is a little to small to fit a whole flake in it so I got the rest in a cob for later.

Good Morning! It's 48° with a clear sky here at first light and one of the workshop doors is open a bit. Later on I have an appointment at our favorite hospital for a pre-op exam and I have no idea of what will be involved. EKG maybe? I do need to speak to the exam staff about a post-op rehab facility to stay in while I recover with my new hip. In the meantime, I'm getting the smoking day started with a bowl of aged Wessex Brown VA Flake in the BBB Two Star Special and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee destined to be tucked underneath my jacket.  |

Everything's okay, just standard procedure stuff before surgery. The EKG showed there's absolutely nothing wrong with my heart, my lungs are clear, I had a blood test, and answered a lot of questions. Next up is my orthopedic surgeon tomorrow and that's routine as well. Pipe time on the deck soon!

It's 75° with a high haze and bright sunshine out here on the deck. I'm going to take a nap later on before making today's rounds. I need the big kitchen matches from the hardware store, then to the pharmacy, and finally to the supermarket for coffee. Currently smoking a bowl of Limerick VA Flake in the BBB billiard and there's a bottle of cold water on the side.

Soon I have to stop taking vitamins and supplements and before surgery I have to stop taking most of my meds. June 12th is the date. Let's get it done already! |
