Great weather here for relaxing, smoking and taking in nature (well the birds, rabbits and squirrels, anyway). Smoking some of my Oriental home blend in a Comoy's bent billiard. My wife's gonna be asking when we should start dinner.

Anomalous in the self-made meatball, cuppa Bewlay's Irish Morning, a little Elijah Craig Small Batch and a nice little fire in the pit. Content. Tomorrow, we drive to Cleveland.

Another beautiful day as today’s temperature topped out at 86 F (30 C). As usual, was at the office and played rather well. SG FVF and St. James Flake to keep me company.

Earlier today at work, in a camping chair outside working on paperwork, burning my head (forgot a hat) with a little bent apple italy briar and a blend of 2 4th generations... nothing better after a long week than soaking up some sun, a pipe, and the birds in the trees

2016 Pegasus in my Eltang Billiard. That wood! Beautiful pipe. Hope to find some maple, cherry, walnut, olive, or briar that give that level of pattern...

Good Saturday Morning! It's 46° with a mostly clear sky here at dawn. The workshop heater is on low just to chase the chill. This afternoon we're finally going to make a supermarket run and that will take up part of the day. I'll also find time for a nap, then pipe and reading out on the deck. Starting the smoking day with a bowl of aged Wessex Brown VA Flake in the Amorelli Three Star and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket. Let's get this holiday weekend going!

Debating...
Couple pipes to choose from, probably the nording nordcoat and super supreme blend from The Rack in Akron (on Manchester road- cigars, pipes, and fishing poles, tackle, and bait... man's trip mecca) but before or after a run...

Forgot the link. I have pipe mortared (guy from youtube... cannot remember the name... determined the mix 1g DAP plaster of paris, 0.5g table salt, 0.6g activated charcoal powder) the bottoms of several pipes to reduce/eliminate gurgle and some tongue bite (works pretty well). imgur.com/a/LjDWMyu

Good Morning Again! It's a cool 66° with plenty of sunshine out here on the deck. Currently smoking a bowl of Peterson Flake in the most favored cob, an MM Mark Twain wth a long Cumberland-ish Forever Stem from Vermont Freehand and there's some warm coffee left in the travel mug. Time to read my book.

Good Almost Evening! It's 76° with a mix of sun and clouds out here on the deck. I came back from the supermarket earlier and made certain that I bought ice cream to have while watching the Yankees vs Cardinals game that I recorded. Currently smoking a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Amorelli and there's a glass of iced herbal tea on the side. Have a relaxing night, everybody!
