Hello from Canada. I have been monitoring The Patch for a while now and have decided to take the plunge and join the forum. I'm a bit shy but this seems to be the place to be. I do enjoy smoking my pipe outdoors when the weather is nice. I like aromatics but will try Virginias in the near future. I am hoping to enjoy them as well.

Welcome! When you try a Virginia, the slower you sip, the better it is. Happy smokes! I just smoked some Virginia Slices by Sutliff in my new Savinelli pipe. You are quite right. It is much better when you sip it slowly but I did not enjoy it. I will age the tobacco and give it another chance. I do not have high expectations though. The next tobacco I will try is Lane's Burley Light Without Bite. I hope to enjoy this one more. |
