Good Late Morning! It's 64°, breezy with a partly hazy sky and bright sunshine out here on the deck. Currently smoking a bowl of Bayou Morning Flake in the Stanwell blasted billiard and there's a second travel mugga coffee on the side. Time to read my book.

Good Late Afternoon! It's 71° with a hazy blue sky, and sunshine out here on the deck. There's a poor air quality alert in effect for most of the NE Ohio region. I sometimes get the impression that I can smell the smoke blowing in from Canada. It'll be worse tomorrow. Currently smoking a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Stanwell blasted billiard along with a bottle of cold water on the side. Have a great night, everybody!

I think I'm nearly done for the day. Regardless, it's time for some Haunted Bookshop in the Wednesday cob. I can actually catch a whiff of bonfire in the breeze.

It's rather noticable right now, Pete, and the sky is a bit hazy although nothing like up in Cleveland. I have to call my brother in NJ tomorrow to find out if he can even leave his house! Looks like we'll have to light up our pipes so that we can at least upgrade the smoke on this side of the border.

Warm (90) and dry here today. After mowing and edging driveway, enjoying a bowl of Wessex Brigade Campaign Dark Flake dated 2018 in an Alberto Bonfiglioli. I think this is Russ' coalsmoke favorite tobacco.

Long day today, but much was accomplished. Finally at home, on the back porch, with what's left of the after-dinner bowl of Haunted Bookshop. I might have some Briar Fox in the Wednesday cob. A little rye on the side, for its analgesic effects.

Busy, long day. My shoulder, hip and back are all reminding me of my age. Since it’s my first pipe of the day, unusual for me to not squeeze a few in along the way, I felt that something a little more substantial was in order. Smoking GH Dark Flake Aromatic in my BC calabash.

Good Morning! It's 46° with a hazy sky here at dawn and a state-wide unhealthy air quality alert has been declared for today. Later on I have to make the rounds to Home Depot, Tractor Supply, and then to the supermarket. Starting the smoking day with a bowl of Wessex Brown VA Flake in the BBB Two Star Special and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket. Have a fine, safe day, everybody!

Good Morning Again! It's 52° here with a sunny but somewhat hazy sky and just a bit of a breeze. I'm finishing up my time in the workshop smoking the last bit of Bayou Morning Flake in the BBB billiard and there's a swallow of coffee left in the travel mug. When I head out on my rounds later on, I'll take along some tobacco and the MM Mark Twain cob for the ride.

Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop and coffee on the back porch. We made a grocery run for provisions, including what I need for barbecue this weekend. Pulled pork and sides on Sunday. Back home now, with another bowl of Haunted Bookshop and the rest of the coffee.

Good Almost Afternoon! It's 63° with hazy sunshine and high clouds out here on the deck. Some wonderful things have happened this morning. My iron infusion treatment has been cancelled by the hospital and no one told me about it. Good...one less thing off of my schedule. The garbage company called with a recorded message announcing that pick-up will be tomorrow and not today, our usual day. Good. One less thing to do. In the meantime, I'm finishing a bowl of Wessex Brigade Campaign Dark Flake, a favorite of Williams too, in the BBB billiard and there's a second travel mugga coffee on the deck table.
