Good Saturday Morning! It's a cool 56° with a clear sky here at first light. Early this afternoon, my wife and I will head on over to our daughter's house up the street for a backyard cookout to celebrate our grandson's birthday. Burgers, hot dogs, and ice cream cake are on the menu. The smoking day has begun with a bowl of Dunhill Dark Flake in a Savinelli Venere 106 and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee on the tobacco table. Enjoy the weekend, everybody!

Good Morning Again! It's a warm 74° with tolerable humidity and some white clouds floating along in the bright, sunny sky out here on the deck. Before getting ready for our grandson's birthday cookout, I'm taking some time for a pipe and more coffee. Currently smoking a bowl of Bayou Morning Flake in the Mark Twain cob and enjoying the quiet.

Good Afternoon! It's 80° with lower humidity, a partly cloudy sky, and bright sunshine out here on the deck. Well, no hot dogs and ice cream cake, I'm afraid. Apparently, my wife's calendar malfunctioned and our grandson's birthday cookout isn't until tomorrow. That's okay. I did the next best thing and took a nap earlier. Currently smoking a bowl of Peterson Flake in the Mark Twain cob and there's a glass of cold water on the side.

A cool 84º this afternoon with 62% humidity, so all in all feels like springtime in the south!! So as I prepare for tomorrow, I am smoking a Linkman Fifty Grand, in the 1484 shape, full of Peterson Perfect Plug... A large bottle of water alongside... After I restored this pipe I thought long and hard as to whether to sell it or to keep it. As of this moment, keep it wins out! Since it is a smaller bowl, possibly like a Dunhill Grade 1, it is a perfect size that I was in search of for a plug or flake. The smaller stem is taking some getting used to but, I think it will work itself out. It's triangular in shape and very light with a nice flame grain to it... I was not able to find much in the online archives, Pipedia or Pipephil, about the shape or the brand other that it was the predecessor to what became the Dr. Grabow brand... Any information y'all might have would be appreciated...

Good Sunday Morning! It's 56° with a clear sky here before first light. Yesterday we showed up at our daughter's house for our grandson's birthday cookout only to be informed that it's today. Ooops. So, that's on for this afternoon. I will lift a hot dog in his honor. Starting the smoking day with a bowl of the last of the open Dunhill Dark Flake in the Amorelli Three Star and the usual travel mugga fresh coffee is on the workshop tobacco table. Have a good, relaxing day, everybody!

But they have repair-shops for Muscle car's of 60's era that we don't have. What's best than to have a restored or modified Corvette C3 driving freely in the highways or road mountains? He lives in California, the land of horrible roads…. They have money to spend on everything except the roads.
Good morning from Athens-Greece, he have sun and 105 'F here. Borkum Riff Vanilla Cavendish.
