A tasty mix of Our Carter Hall and some reclaimed MacBaren Symphony, first in the Kristi freehand, with a Savinelli 707 Prima Serie loaded for back-up. The usual morning coffee sits beside me at the keyboard.

Good Morning Again! It's 72°, on the humid side right now, and with a clear sky and bright sunshine out here on the deck. Taking a break from reading while smoking a bowl of Peterson Flake in the Amorelli and sipping at my second travel mugga coffee. I bought an eight ounce can of C&D Bayou Morning Flake last month or so and transferred over half of it to day jars. Since then, I had been packing my pipe from only the can and was surprised to always find the moisture level just right after sitting for weeks with only the plastic snap-on lid to keep the can closed. But that's not for long term storage and I decided to take the remaining flake and jar it for aging. I'm interested in tasting what a year or two will do to this particular blend of VA and Perique.

Happy Sunday, all! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Sunday cob and coffee on the back deck. The kids are coming over for dinner today to celebrate my wife's birthday, which was on Wednesday. I'll be grilling up some flank steaks and shrimp, peppers and onions for fajitas.

On the front porch with a bowl of Silver Strike home blend in the Sunday cob. The flanks steaks are prepped and marinating, peppers and onions sliced. Still gotta prep the beans and the shrimp.

Good Morning! It's 61° here with a clear, starry sky. I woke up way too early and decided to just go about the usual routine and get some more sleep later on. Starting off the smoking day with a bowl of Limerick VA Flake in the Savinelli Venere 128 rusticated billiard and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee on the tobacco table. Stay cool and safe, everybody!

Puffing along on the Savinelli 707 I loaded yesterday morning. Normally I'm good for no less than four bowls on Sunday, but life got in the way yesterday.

Good Morning Again! It's 66° with a clear sky and bright sunshine out here on the deck. This is my favorite pipe, reading, and coffee spot in the warm weather and the neighborhood is quite enough to enjoy sitting outside. Currently smoking a bowl of Bayou Morning Flake mixed with some Haunted Bookshop in the Sav rusticated billiard and there's a second travel mugga coffee on the side.

Happy Monday, all! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Monday cob and coffee on the front porch. Watering the garden boxes, baskets and pots is the first item on today's to-do list. We'll see where the rest of the day takes me. I'm in no hurry.

I continue to be insanely busy. Only smoking Royal Yacht, haven’t had the energy to think much about different blends.
