Good Evening! It's 85° with tolerable humidity and a cloudy sky out here on the deck at sunset. I assembled my wife's baker's rack without too much trouble this afternoon and also did laundry, so a few things were accomplished. Taking a break from the Guardians vs Royals game that I recorded just to get outside for a pipe. Pop-up storms will be in the forecast and it looks like the a/c will stay on for the night. Currently smoking a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Kaywoodie Relief Grain apple with a glass of cold water on the side. G'night, everybody!

Good Morning! The night never did cool off, so it's already 74°, very humid with a mostly cloudy sky, and everything is wet from an an overnight shower. There's a heat advisory in effect for today because of the high heat index, but I'll have to make a supermarket and Home Depot run. Can't be out of ground coffee! I also need a folding torx driver set in order to tighten the hinge screw on the deck umbrella's tilt knuckle. Starting the smoking day with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Peterson Rosslare 106 and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee on the workshop tobacco table. Stay cool and safe, everybody!

Mornin' Russ! It's 77F and humid for us as well. Last night's cigar was accompanied by storms blowing around. Another week or so of 100+ temps but looking to cool down a bit after that. This morning I'm smoking a 50/50 mix of Wilke Peanut Butter and D&R Two Timer in an MM Country Gent with black coffee to drink and heading to work shortly. Have a good one all!

My own Lion and Lamb mixture in a Hillson egg. It's super-hot in The Old Dominion this morning as well. I may sneak out to reclaim some soil from a few old planters. Some old red potatoes have sprung to life in one of my compost piles, and the old soil coupled with some plant food will go a long way to help produce fresh new potatoes...much more a fun project, than any kind of crop.

Good Morning Again! It's 80°, very humid with a clearing sky, bright sunshine, and a breeze is making the conditions tolerable out here on the deck. Finishing up a bowl of Bayou Morning Flake mixed with some Haunted Bookshop in the Pete smooth billiard and there's a second travel mugga coffee on the side.

Happy Thursday, all! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Thursday cob and coffee on the front porch. Warm, cloudy and breezy out here. Heading to 85 with plenty of humidity.

I smoked some 2021 Miskatonic Mixture in a 2021 Christmas cob with long green/white swirl acrlic stem last night. I’m going to smoke some of the first year release of C&D Sunbear in a polished 5th Ave Diplomat showcob with blue/white swirl acrylic stem shortly.

Good Morning! It's 69° and very humid here with a clear sky. Even though a heat advisory in effect for today, I have to make the supermarket run sometime. Good thing the store is ten minutes away. Starting off the smoking day with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the 1950 Dunhill Lovat and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee on the workshop tobacco table. Stay safe and cool, everybody!

Some glpease geometrie in cob working on this burl by hand with wood chisels and burrs... it is tough going but this maple burl pipe stand will look great when done. Gonna put it up for sale for at least 80. Decent day with the fan and some lacroix. Day off today and tomorrow got my fiancee's birthday.

Good Morning Again! It's 78°, very humid with a cloudy sky, and hazy sunshine out here on the deck. There is a bit of a breeze that helps with the comfort level and I'm been taking a break from my reading. A neighbor's cat, Timmy, was wandering around and keeping me company, but he's off to more interesting adventures. Currently smoking another bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Dunhill Lovat and there's a second travel mugga coffee on the side.
