80, very breezy at times, more clouds than sun. They're still forecasting rain for late afternoon here. Smoking Pegasus in the Thursday cob on the back deck.

Another Royal Yacht day in various pipes, business is too busy right now to have fun thinking much about tobacco choices.

Made a batch of pesto. On the front porch now, with the Thursday cob filled with Friar's Bayou. Ginger lime seltzer on ice accompanies.

Smoking and evaluating my latest home blend in the Thursday cob. It's got dark Burley, red Virginia, black Cavendish and perique. Think I'll be dialing back on the Cavendish and adding more Burley and Virginia.

Back to another bowl of the latest home blend with Cavendish. Drying thoroughly helps a lot. Will be tinkering with the proportions.

Good Morning! It's 62° with a clear, starry sky and a crescent moon here in our town right now. I don't plan on going anywhere this afternoon, so I'll spend a few hours at the hobby bench working on my latest project. I have more pipes that need maintenance cleaning as well. Starting the smoking day with a bowl of aged McC Blackwood's Flake from Darin in the Stanwell Silver Mount blasted billiard and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee on the workshop tobacco table. Have a good Friday, everybody!

Happy Friday, all! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Friday cob and coffee on the front porch. It's 71 and sunny, with a very light breeze here. Expecting some rain this evening and overnight. Plenty of time to do some yard and garden work.

Good Late Morning! It's a pleasant 74° with a light breeze, a clear sky, and bright sunshine out here on the deck. The excellent pulmonologist that my wife and I met with yesterday has ordered oxygen equipment to ease her breathing problems and it will be delivered soon. I'm interested in learning about the machines, one stationary and one portable, and I'm sure it will all be explained to us when set up. Currently smoking a bowl of well-aged FVF in the Stanwell blasted billiard and there's some coffee left in the travel mug.

After-dinner smoke time. Haunted Bookshop in the Friday cob on the front porch. It rained while we put dinner together, but mostly clear skies now.

Smoking some more Samuel Gawith Full Virginia Flake from 2009, if you aren't cellaring it, you should...it appreciates handsomely. Fresh, it is gold, after aging it turns pretty black...and the smoking pleasure increases exponentially.
