Friar's Bayou in the Sunday cob on the back deck. The kids are coming over for dinner al fresco today. Grilled sausages, potato pancakes, sauerkraut and cucumber salad. Sounds like we're training for Oktoberfest season!

Thanks,Charlie. We try to do a family dinner every week at one of our houses. Our son requested the sausage and potato pancakes. Oh, I've got German beer, too. But then, I always do.

Man, every time I smoke Sweet Tea I thoroughly enjoy it. If a soft, mildly aromatic blend interests you, you could do a lot worse.

Beautiful pipes, Urb and Turbocat!
If they smoke as good as they look, great smokes.

Some really nice pipes being posted this evening. I smoked my MM Great Dane Spindle cob all day long. Now, some Friar's Bayou is burning in it. Everyone's gone home, dinner was great. On the back deck, listening to the crickets.

Good Morning! It's 68°, humid, and with a cloudy sky here before first light. This afternoon I have to go to the veterans clinic in Canton for a routine eye exam and physical checkup. Starting off the smoking day with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the Peterson Rosslare 106 billiard and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee on the workshop tobacco table. Have a good one, everybody!

Happy Monday, all! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Monday cob and coffee on the front porch. It's 69, overcast and humid here. Expecting a little rain this afternoon and a lot tonight. No real plans for today, we'll see what I get into.

Good Morning Again! It's 76°, rather humid, with a mix of clouds and sunshine out here on the deck. We're going to get some rain here, too, and I have just enough time to finish my pipe before it starts. I cancelled my appointments at the VA clinic because of spinal arthritis pain that began last night. That's okay. I'll rest up and then see about doing some laundry chores. Currently smoking a bowl of McConnell Scottish Flake in the Pete smooth billiard and there's a second travel mugga coffee on the side.
