Even though I was immersed in the world of Steinbeck when I lived in Steinbeck country, I never knew that he smoked a pipe. Thanks for the post, Bob…Pipesmag always comes up with great content.

In the first few pics of a thread I posted awhile back are some places in Monterey that a lot of people walk by ignorant about the history or uninterested… worth checking out if one finds themselves there.
