A late pipe for the day, Schoenleber Canadian filled with Royal Yacht... A large sweet tea on the side... Watching “Holiday Inn” with Bing Crosby with a paneled pipe. The cancel police missed this one. Bing played a black face part! It hasn’t been cut out of the movie!

I've had a peaceful rainy day at home and am now smoking some Old Joe Krantz in a meerschaum bent billiard. John, the OJK you’re smoking, what tin is it from. I had some years ago before it was tinned and now that it is I don’t know which is the original. I really enjoyed it and would like to identify which is which. Thanks!

Put two bowls of Eccentric through my Rattray's 107 Dark Ale, fine little pipe I had repaired this fall. Glad I did, although it cost more than the value of the pipe. I really don't lean towards large pipes, although I do have a Savinelli 616KS Sistina that I'll pull out from time to time. It's an over 2hour smoke for me. Sometimes those two hour smokes are necessary to unwind, recharge, and just enjoy your favorite blend! The Contemplative Smoker!

Hi John, My OJK is not from a tin, it is bulk. I bought 1.5 lbs. of it a few months back.

Good Morning! It's 53° here and raining. This afternoon my wife's physical therapist is coming by, so I'll hide out in the basement and scan another postcard for my blog. Getting the smoking day started with a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake in the BBB Two Star Special smooth billiard and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket. Have a good one everybody!

Good Morning Again! It's 52° here right now with a break in the rain, but more is on the way soon. About halfway through this bowl of Christmas Cheer and next up will be Straight Grain Flake in the BBB billiard. Time to sip my coffee and check the headline news.

Happy Wednesday! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Wednesday cob. I've got a couple pipes in the workshop from an estate sale to clean up. Giving them the salt and Everclear treatment.

Been smoking SPC Plum Pudding SR in my Lorenzetti 29 today. I have been disappointed in this tobacco almost from the first pipe I smoked it in. It figures that I would find a pipe it smokes well in as I am cleaning out the jar. I still prefer regular Plum Pudding, but SR isn't as disappointing a tobacco as it had been.
