Plum Pudding in a cob. I scored a couple new pipes today. Two pre-WWII era Yello-Boles, and another Orlik pre-1950. I’ve kinda been obsessing over old pipes lately. This is why I hate hobbies. I can’t just have fun and dabble in something.

John, the OJK you’re smoking, what tin is it from. I had some years ago before it was tinned and now that it is I don’t know which is the original. I really enjoyed it and would like to identify which is which. Thanks! Hi John, My OJK is not from a tin, it is bulk. I bought 1.5 lbs. of it a few months back. Thanks John. Sometimes bulk is Best!

Good Morning! It's 45° here and raining. Yesterday I finally got around to using a new sanding cone on the bowl of the Upshall smooth quarter-bent Dublin and it worked out okay. Wasn't too aggressive at all and looks like the way to go for trimming bowl cake. This afternoon my wife's physical therapist is coming by after postponing until today. Starting the smoking day with a bowl of Scottish Flake in the Upshall Dublin and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket. Have a good one everybody!

Good Morning Again! It's still 45° here and the rain has stopped for now. Currently smoking a bowl of Straight Grain Flake in the Upshall Dublin. Usual routine...sip my coffee and check the headline news.

Been smoking SPC Plum Pudding SR in my Lorenzetti 29 today. I have been disappointed in this tobacco almost from the first pipe I smoked it in. It figures that I would find a pipe it smokes well in as I am cleaning out the jar. I still prefer regular Plum Pudding, but SR isn't as disappointing a tobacco as it had been. Now you know you need some more! My TAD fund is exhausted, 2lbs of various bulks on the way. Not to mention a tamper, reamer, and a new Falcon meer and internation stem. I'm rationing Kraft dinner and reusing coffee grounds for a while. Having Paradoxical in a Rossi Lumberman, nice, well-behaved pipe.
