Quite a beauty Pete! Love that plateau. Thanks, Charlie! I was actually thinking of taking a smidge off the heel. As far as the plateaux goes, I used two big pieces of plateaux briar, and squeezed four pipes out of them. I managed to get all the pipes with plateaux on the rim and shank. |

Good Saturday Morning! It's 36° with occasional rain here. Later on this morning the landlord is coming by to replace the kitchen faucet nozzle hose weight and take measurements for a new microwave above the stove. Starting the smoking day with a bowl of Scottish Flake in the Don Carlos smooth bent Two Note and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket. Have a great weekend everybody!

Good Morning Again! It's 35° here right now with a cloudy sky. I just opened up my tobacco order, filled the larger Bayou Morning Flake day jar, and the other tins are stacked on the workshop tobacco table. With the FVF and BBF on the way, I'm well stocked and will have to get some more jars for storage. When I finish this bowl of Limerick, I think that I'll have a bowl of the fresh Bayou Morning Flake. Time to check the headline news and sip my coffee.

Happy Saturday, all! Started the day with a couple bowls of Haunted Bookshop in the Saturday cob and coffee in the cave. Baking a loaf of sourdough in a couple hours. Grilling steaks for dinner.
