Feel better soon! Took me about a week. Same. And you guys be careful if you get that ice. Gonna be a soggy week here. The snow that was expected today was rain/sleet/freezing rain. More of that overnight, but mostly rain. That's the forecast anyway.

That's the forecast anyway. A good chance of freezing rain here over night. I'll have to strap the crampons onto my winter boots for the trek out to the workshop in the morning.

2014 McC Stave-Aged 35 in my 2019 Dunhill Cumberland 3101 Apple. Gotta love a 3101. Yes, the gold standard for the Apple shape. I was watching for the perfect 3101 for me for quite a while before I found this one which could easily be a Ring Grain. This pipe was my get well present to myself ordered from my hospital bed when I was hospitalized for complications from pneumonia in 2022. Additionally, this pipe commemorates my last cigarette.

Had some Mac Baren Mixture Scottish in a St. Regis pot. Now smoking some Sutliff RC Red VA I got from the B&M the other day, in an MMC Elite Cadel reverse calabash cob.

People say the billiard is THE classic Dunhill shape, and it probably is, but sometimes I think it's the 101 apple. Yours is a byoot. I snagged mine by sheer dumb luck; right place, right time.

Ronv69 mentioning Wilke chocolate got Wilke stuck in my head, so I’m smoking Wilke 515 in an Orlik calabash just to complete the whole Basil Rathbone connection.

Wilke Chocolate in a 1969 Preben Holm Hand Cut pickaxe. Copenhagen Denmark That's a nice looking pickaxe, Ron. The shape, the grain, the plateau . . . you got better taste than I gave you credit for.

Good Morning! It's a balmy 36° with rain here and the snow is melting away. I'm not going anywhere this afternoon, but will do laundry and just putter around. Starting the smoking day with a bowl of Peterson Flake in the Don Carlos smooth bent Two Note and there's a fresh travel mugga coffee tucked underneath my jacket. Have a good one everybody!

Mornin' gang! I'm smoking 5 Brothers in an MM Country Gent with my coffee and can't taste either one. Combine that with a pretty good headache and dripping nose and I'd say the 'Vid has come to visit. I'll mask up and head to work, run a test when I get there and, possibly, have a couple days off. Take care all!

Good Morning Again! It's now 33° here with on and off rainfall. I just finished watching one of a series of "The Crime Doctor" starring Warner Baxter as a psychiatrist and sleuth. Currently smoking a bowl of HH Pure VA Flake and sipping my coffee. Time to check the headline news.
